Such a beautiful wedding. This Bantham Bash wedding is situated on the top of a hill on the outskirts of Thurlestone. Bantham Bash has spectacular views out to sea. And overlooks the Burgh Island. Bantham bash field is large with plenty of scope to create the wedding of your dreams. This lovely couple wanted a relaxed, chilled, party atmosphere for their day.

A Vision in Namoi Neoh Dress

The beautiful bride kept things simple in her sleek and elegant wedding dress. Naomi Neoh designed the dress. A long fitted satin gown with a train and long sleeves with a v-neck collar and backline to match. Button detail on the sleeves and down the back accessorised it. The Bride wore simple and elegant strappy satin heels from Rainbow. A popular choice for lots of Brides, and available at most Bridal stores. To complete the look she wore a long veil with a scalloped lace edge. Lindsey Johns created a beautiful bouquet of seasonal flowers.

The couple wanted a traditional church service. This was held at Thurlestone Church, as short distance up the road. The bride arrived in a racing- green vintage car. Where her Bridesmaids greeted her before they walked up to the church together.

A Ceremony With Tears & Laughter

The Bride’s Mother walked her down the aisle. Where the Groom stood waiting for his blushing bride. It was a beautiful service full of tears and laughter. With readings by friends and some hearty singing to boot. The ceremony finished with applause and cheering as the couple had their first kiss. Afterwards guest showered the happy couple with confetti as they exited the Church. Then it was on to their chilled-out party reception at Bantham Bash.

Time out at Together

After a few formal group shots with family and the bridal party, it was time for some fun. We skipped off down the hill and into a cornfield. There the couple had time to enjoy themselves and be in the moment. And could enjoy the epic scenery around them.

Chilled Music On The Hill

Whilst the couple enjoyed a few moments to themselves. Miss Velocity played chilled music. And guests relaxed with drinks and canapes. Chatting amongst themselves enjoying the atmosphere and the incredible sea views.

Wine Tasting At Bantham Bash Wedding

Just before everyone sat down to the wedding breakfast. There was a wine tasting demonstration. Emerging Vines treated guests to three carefully selected British Wines. A red and white and a rose. All from local vineyards. It was a huge success and went down as well as the wine. It ended with an emotional and heartfelt speech from the Bride.

Gin O’Clock

In the marquee, there were wooden tables and chairs. White runners were the length of the tables. With grey napkins on place settings. Little wrapped gifts with a sprig of lavender were on each plate. Beautiful jars of seasonal flowers were intermittent on the tables. And floral hoops hung from the ceiling.

Wild Artichoke supplied an amazing meal. And after a hearty meal, it was time for speeches. Salcombe Gin was used as toasting drink. Each setting had a small bottle. With the bridal party going around the tables with a choice of flavoured Fevertree tonic.

The day ended with a riotous bouquet throw. Capitol Motown and Soul started to play music for everyone to dance the night away. And the sunset on a beautiful Bantham Bash Wedding.
