Wick Farm Bath, is such a gorgeous venue, which is why I was so excited to be photographing this lovely wedding. Wick Farm is a medieval farm steeped in history, dating back to 1372. It is set in 37 acres of stunning countryside, with horses, sheep, chickens and even a duck pond. The beautiful Somerset barn is light, bright and airy and the perfect wedding venue, for couples who want a barn wedding with that luxurious touch.

The happy couple first met at sixth form college, although it was a dating app that brought them together. And it’s been true love ever since. They chose Wick Farm Bath because they both fell in love with its elegance and rustic charm. They wanted a laid back country style wedding with touches of glamour, to give a magical fairy tale feel to the day.

A Fairytale Ceremony at Wick Farm
Joanna looked radiant in her beautiful chiffon gown from Rookery Bridal, and cute little Vivienne Westwood heart shoes. Whilst Robert looked equally dashing in his Moss Bros tweed suit as they both tied the knot.

Flowers of Bath created soft feminine bouquets and buttonholes. And did an incredible job of the floral styling for the day. Maintaining that luxurious yet rustic countryside feel with pale pink roses, peonies and veronica. Following through in all the table arrangements to complete the fairytale effect.

A Magical atmosphere at Wick Farm
The Barn looked stunning with the chandelier of fairy lights that hung from the ceiling. Creating a luxurious and magical feel. Decorating the tables were simple white linens and vases of soft pinks and white and green foliage. Creating an elegant but countryside feel to the room. Pretty little tea lights on the tables completed the look to give that elegant and magical feel to the day.

After some very emotional speeches during the wedding breakfast, the couple had a magician. He entertained their guests sprinkling a bit magic around the room. Then it was time to cut the amazing wedding cake, created by Beelicious Cakes. The cake was a scrumptious naked cake filled with strawberries, raspberries and cream with flowers for decoration around the edge. And if you stood anywhere near it had the most heavenly smell.

As the sun started to set over Wick Farm we snuck off for some wedding photography portraits. Where Joanna and Robert enjoyed some time, just the two of them, chilling out and having fun. It really was every inch a fairytale wedding.
