A Halburton Church Service

The couple chose Halburton church to get married. The Brides parents and sister had both married there. And she wanted to follow in the tradition. The service was intimate, personal and emotional. With the Groom welling up as he said his vows.

Defying usual church tradition due to the rain. The confetti was thrown over the couple as they walked down the aisle. Then it was on to the bride’s family home to enjoy a garden wedding reception with a little less sun than anticipated.

A Little Bit Of Wedding Glitter

Sometimes the weather doesn’t play ball no matter how much planning beforehand. A summer garden wedding can sometimes feel anything but summer. This fabulous couple didn’t let a bit of rain, or wedding glitter put a dampener on their day. They both enjoyed the timeout together, having a laugh and messing about.

Garden wedding FAQ’s

Is a Garden wedding cheaper than at a venue?

Although a garden wedding might seem like a great way to cut out venue costs and save money. Unless you own a massive stately home, you’ll need to factor in things like hiring a marquee, table and chairs catering etc.. So do your maths

Will having a garden wedding be less stressful to organise?

Although a wedding in your garden may seem like an easy way to save money and retain control of exactly what you want, trying to do everything yourself can become very stressful. Hire suppliers to care of the larger parts of the day and do the smaller jobs yourself.

Can I have a Garden style wedding, but somewhere else?

Absolutely if you want a relaxed and informal day centred around beautiful gardens for a homely feel, there are many venues that will allow you to pop a marquee up and use their grounds. Similarly you could hire a large field or use a recreation field with a marquee to get the same feel.
