A Summer Wedding at Brympton House

“These are amazing. We have genuinely never looked so good. Thank you so much”

It’s honestly so hard to put into words what an incredibly, amazing and wonderful day Hannah and Will’s wedding was at Brympton House. But it honestly was. The first day of June and the sun shone like there was no tomorrow. It was so warm that the candles on the wall, during their ceremony burned just that little bit quicker than usual. What I thought was a wasp attracted to the room by the abundance of beautiful fragrant flowers that adorned the pews and the ceremony table, and kept stinging the back of my neck as I diligently photographed Hannah and Will exchanging their vows, turned out to be hot burning wax dripping down my neck.

None the less despite the hot wax  it was a beautiful, emotional and heartfelt ceremony and Hannah looked radiant and the picture of happiness as she walked down the aisle in her stunning Augusta Jones dress, with a sweetheart neckline, chiffon skirt and lace bodice from Kate Walker Bridal. Whilst Will looked the dashing Groom in his grey/green tweed suit from Moss Bros. After some beautiful readings and lots of emotional tears Hannah and Will excited the ceremony room into glorious sunshine and a showering of confetti from family and friends.

Afterwards, Hannah and Will enjoyed drinks and canapes with their family and friends amid the stunning grounds of Brympton House, whilst the sun shone above. The tinkling of chatter and laughter floating on the light breeze.

And after a sumptuous feast of a wedding breakfast, and some cracking speeches, including a funny and emotional one from the Maid of Honour, Hannah and Will cut the cake, which was a selection of homemade cakes, baked by their Aunties. And whilst their guests enjoyed tea and coffee with some tasty cake, I sneaked off with Hannah and Will to take a few photos in the gorgeous walled garden and lake. Where we had a lot of fun and jokes in the warm summer evening, before Hannah and Will rejoined their guests to enjoy toasting marsh mallows over the brazier and while away the evening with music from Ryan O’Reilly.
