This Almonry Barn Wedding Shoot is just gorgeous. This beautiful barn is an 800-year-old gem, situated in the glorious Somerset countryside. Boasting architectural texture, romantic lighting and rustic elegance, its the perfect setting for the style-conscious couple. And I’m delighted to be one of their preferred suppliers.

Fine Art Meets Boho

The overall feel for the shoot was a stylish, modern look with a relaxed bohemian style. Whilst at the same time elegant and romantic. ‘Californian Dreaming’ perfectly encapsulates the vibe. And illustrates that you don’t need to fly to the West Coast . You can achieve your ‘California Dreams’ on your doorstep in the stunning surroundings of the West Country.

A First Look at Almonry Barn

Spectacular Florals To Lust Over

Bramble and Wild created a half-moon floral arch for the outdoor ceremony in the picturesque orchard. As well as matching pew ends. The outside styling complemented the styling of the venue and perfectly reflected the California Bohemian style.

Flick and Flourish created the dream catcher table plan. Hanging from the trees in the garden, with their ribbons catching on the breeze. Because nothing says California Bohemian style like dream catchers.

A Room With A View

Statement floral centrepieces took centre stage on tables. Large displays of pampas grass, roses, grasses, eucalyptus, dahlias and king proteas sat on top of gold floral stands. Together with the incredible fairy light chandelier that stretches across the ceiling, giving the whole room had a modern yet bohemian style look.

The table was a mix of modern and traditional. It was bold and unique and uber stylish. Gold cutlery, blush pink napkins, gold beaded charger plates and personalised Perspex name tags.

Sweet Treats For A Happily Ever After

Treats included a macaroon tower of perfectly formed pinks and creams macaroons set in front of a large ‘Happily Ever After’ neon sign. As well as an amazing tower of pink meringues and an ice cream sundae illustrate how modern touches can sit at home in a rustic barn.

Leanne from Baking Chick created the most a spectacular Dessert table. A trio of cakes featuring gold foil, hand painting and feathered icing. With a large protea for decoration.

Something A Little Bit Different

An Oyster Bar and Hot Dog stand offered something a little bit different with a unique twist. The Oyster bar comprised of an aluminium tub filled with ice with to keep the oysters fresh. Nested within the tub were jars of pickles and dips to accompany the canape alternative. A Hot Dog stand was set up as an alternative to evening snacks. The perfect hot dog with onions and mustard sandwiched in a bun was displayed on in a crate. Ready for guests to help themselves to.

A Little Love And Romance

California Dreaming at Almonry Barn Wedding

To end the day, some fun and romantic photos down by the stream among the trees. Followed by a little California Dreaming by the log store. With a red heart-shaped neon sign to set off the vibe of the day.
