The best time to schedule your pregnancy photoshoot is usually around 28-32 weeks. By this time most women are fully ‘showing’ with a sizeable bump to photograph. After 23 weeks although it’s fine to photograph, you can run the risk of starting to feel uncomfortable amd not your ‘glowy’ best in the latter stages of your pregnancy. (I know I did) You also run the risk of going into labour early and missing out altogether. (I did this too).
Her husband Olaf is Swiss, and probably the most laid back Swiss I’ve ever met. Not to mention hilarious to boot. This couple really are the loveliest couple you could ever meet. From the moment I first met them I felt as if I’d known them forever. They were so warm and friendly and instantly had you at ease. Emma is absolutely gorgeous, waif like and glowing. And it’s plain to see how much in love her and Olaf are. He absolutely dotes on her, and as a family there’s a real sense of excitement about number two’s impending arrival.
Today I joined them them for this pregnancy photoshoot on the beach at Bucks Mill for some fun in the sand and rock pools and a bit of splashing about in the sea. As you can see the whole family were on good form and very excited. There was lots of running about, rockpooling and sandcastle building. And when I had finished doing that we all got on with the shoot. Only joking. But doesn’t it sound like a wonderful way to spend the morning?
