The Deer Park is one of my most favourite local venues to photograph at. So I was delighted when this fabulous couple asked me to shoot their Deer Park wedding. The Deer Park is a stylish and relaxed country house with an impressive backdrop. Whether it’s the Italian garden, expansive lawn, cornfields or walled garden. The Deer Park has all the ingredients for a truly relaxed and beautiful wedding. And this one was no exception.

A Vintage Style Tea Dress

The bride wore a 50’s style Tea dress from Proposals, with elegant white lace-covered shoes. To complement the vintage English theme she had chosen. Haughty Culture supplied a beautiful bouquet full of pastel pink and white English tea roses with sprays of eucalyptus to complete the look.

Happiness & Joy At The Altar

The bride looked radiant and full of joy as she walked down the aisle. And the orangery looked beautiful with vases brimming with flowers. The Bride and groom said their I do’s under a floral arch to happy guests looking on. They exited to a shower of confetti from guests.

Moments Together at Deer Park wedding

After a few formal photographs, the couple snuck off to enjoy a little time together as newlyweds. They spent time in the walled garden among the flowers and apple trees. As well as enjoyed running through the cornfields together.

Brimming With laughter & Details

After a sunshiney afternoon full of Pimms and cream teas it was time for the Wedding Breakfast. A table plan of cards in hamper boxes full or roses and sprigs of foliage showed guests their table. At each setting were cards to leave advice for the happy couple. To end the meal there were some hilarious speeches along with a game of Mr and Mrs using shoes.

The couple wanted a quintessentially English style wedding with cups of tea served out of china cups and saucers. Fairycakes, cream teas and cookies. Bespoke Beautiful days suppled old school lawn games like croquet and bunting as well as tealights. The Groom’s input was cheese. Partial to a snackeral of cheese and biscuits. He wanted locally sourced Devon cheese served in the evening with some equally amazing Devon pickles to compliment.

Tea, Cake & Dancing Into The Evening

To end the evening the bride threw her bouquet to the female guests. Then it was time to hit the dancefloor. Where the Bride and Groom kicked up a storm with an energetic and impressive first dance. The was perfect and a truly beautiful wedding. Every inch the spiffingly English Deer Park wedding the couple had wanted.
