Devon Wedding Photographer – A romantic shoot at Killerton Broadclyst

Tracy & Adam at Killerton Broadclyst

“Thank you sooooo much, you are super talented and we couldn’t be happier. The colours, effects, just everything is awesome. We can’t wait for the big day.”

I love it when couples who are nervous about having their photo taken and feeling relaxed in front of the camera turn around to me afterwards and say what a fantastic time they had, and how they ended up really enjoying themselves. It’s even more gratifying and the reason I do what I do when they turn around after they see the images and say how much they love them and can’t wait for their wedding. It’s also a testament to how worthwhile engagement shoots or the pre-wedding shoot is. It gives us both some uninterrupted time to get to know each other better, you get to learn to relax in front to of the camera and see how I work, I get a chance to see how comfortable you both are together and how you interact with each other, and it’s all done in a non-pressured environment. By the time your wedding day comes around I know how you naturally hold hands together or sit with each other, whether you like to snuggle or if its just not your style and on your wedding day it helps my whole process become a lot more intuitive.

Today’s session was at the stunning grounds of Killerton in the village of Broadclyst on an Autumnal Morning. Although it was November there was still plenty of colour to be had in the orangey red leaves on the trees and the burst of pinks and yellow still going on some of the flowers. And although there was a misty sky creating a soft haze there was signs that the sun was keen to come out. But most importantly there was plenty of fun to be had on the supersize swings hanging from the trees, which we made good use.

I’m sooo looking forward to this wedding it’s going to be wonderful.
