Huntsham Court is a local wedding venue for me, and I love photographing weddings there. It’s a pretty wedding venue with well-kept gardens and countryside walks. Huntsham Court is set in the beautiful Devonshire countryside just outside of Tiverton. It’s, is a lovely country manor house and popular wedding venue for 2 days/weekend weddings.
I was really excited about this spring wedding at Huntsham Court! Although the end of March was not all glorious and Spring like with bleating lambs frolicking in fields under blue skies there was still much love and laughter going on at Huntsham Court.
I love shooting my own weddings so much, but I’m also blessed to be able to work and shoot for other very talented photographers too. It’s such a great opportunity to do this. We get to learn new things from each other and bounce ideas off each other, and you always have someone to call. Today I was shooting for Annamarie, which is always a pleasure.
A Cosy, Intimate Wedding at Huntsham Court
The happy couple hail from London, but had family and friends travelling from all over England and across the globe to join them on their wedding day. They wanted a venue that was cosy, intimate and big enough for everyone to get together and enjoy a weekend of nuptials, fab food, great times, much laughter and lots of memories. And Huntsham Court certainly fit the bill for all of that.
The bride looked radiant in her Jenny Packham dress – especially fitted for her blossoming baby bump. And the Groom was also looking very dashing in his dark grey Scottish kilt. The bride’s friend created the floral masterpiece of a bouquet you can see below.

And even though it was a grey drizzly day outside Huntsham Court, the love and laughter from this bride and groom and their guests shone through. The whole wedding sparkled around everywhere to brighten things up inside. We even got a few portraits outside!

Huntsham Court Wedding FAQs
Yes! Weekend weddings are really popular at this Devon wedding venue. My clients have previously booked Huntsham Court for the whole weekend for their family and friends, and have spent the day after the wedding together enjoying a range of countryside activities.
Dogs are welcome at the venue, and it’s a great location for exercising dogs as there are lots of countryside walks. Huntsham Court has a limit of up to two dogs at events.
Huntsham Court is approx a 20-minute drive from the M5, and is located in the outskirts of Tiverton, is a 20-minute drive from the centre of Tiverton. The postcode is: EX16 7NA and I have found this to be accurate.
Huntsham Court is accessed via narrow windy country lanes, so it is tricky to access when it snows or during bad weather. 4×4 vehicles would deal with this no problem, but in adverse weather, you may have difficulty. It is a really beautiful wedding in winter, but it will be worth putting a plan in place for guest access if snow of bad weather was expected at the time of your wedding.
