So 2015 kicked off with an absolutely fabulous wedding. I am so fortunate that as well as shooting my own weddings I also get to shoot and help out with some other really wonderful and talented photographers. This wedding I was shooting for the amazing Jamie Dodd. A fabulously traditional wedding the boys were all together getting ready at their house in Bristol, whilst the Bride and her maids had a room to themselves at the stunning Hotel Du Vin & Bistro where the Bride worked to get ready. From here they made their way to the beautiful the beautiful across the other side of Bristol where they side their ‘I do’s’ in front of their closest friend and family. Before making their way to a reception at the beautiful Old Down Manor just outside of Bristol. The blushing bride wore an exquisite dress ‘Houston’ by Cymbeline from The Mews Bridal Gowns, with a stunning white Temperley bolero, that was so soft to touch. Styling for the day was done by The Little Wedding Helper. Although the Old Down Manor is also a country park with adventure playground and very own pets corner with farm animals, offering a great day out for the family. The manor offers a superb venue for weddings, which is where this gorgeous couple celebrated. Decked out in green foliage, gypsophila, white candles and candelabras and a smattering of white roses reminiscent of the bridal bouquet, with a grand piano’s ivories being tickled, tonight The Old Down Manor was very much old school Hollywood glamour. Here’s a little snap shot of some of the glamour and pretty going on.
