The bridal look was pure editorial elegance. A stunning Freda Bennett crepe gown from Kate Walker Bridal, a sequined illusion bodice, fitted skirt, puddle train, paired with Harriet Wilde shoes and Rachel Sokhal Bridal jewellery. The piece that tied it all together: a bespoke cathedral length veil by Rebecca Anne Designs. Soft, romantic and completely unforgettable.
The morning unfolded in the beautiful surroundings of Ugbrooke itself, one of the many joys of a venue where your guests stay, your bridal party gets ready, and the whole weekend feels like one long celebration rather than a single day.
Vows in the Devon countryside
The ceremony took place in the pavilion on the lawns, dressed by Flowers by Sophie Millington in cream, soft pinks and peach roses, foxgloves, stocks, ranunculus, lisianthus and eucalyptus creating that wild romantic feel that suits Ugbrooke’s landscape so perfectly.
Dining in style at Ugbrooke
Inside, Emma Caesar Weddings styled the wedding breakfast with elegant beaded white plates, crystal glassware and gold cutlery, the kind of table setting that makes guests stop and reach for their phones before they’ve even sat down.
Claire Arscott Cake Design’s three-tiered white iced cake sat alongside biscuits and donuts — because every beautiful table deserves something genuinely delicious on it.
Golden hour at the Lakes
Then came golden hour at the lakes. Willow trees dancing at the water’s edge, light cutting through the branches, and the kind of portraits that remind you exactly why you chose this venue. Ugbrooke at golden hour is something else entirely.
